No, the Board of Trustees retains its autonomy and can decide whether or not the Coalition agreement works for the fund. It it our goal to negotiate agreements that make it easy and obvious for Trustees to select the Coalition agreement.

The Coalition charges an annual membership dues based on the average number of members in the fund. The current dues rate is $2.00 per member per year with a minimum dues of $2,500 and a maximum dues payment of $15,000.

The MEBFC contracts enable Member Funds to control their health care costs. In addition, the Coalition provides a forum for funds to network and discuss issues that affect our funds.
